Born To Serve
Who we are is how we serve.
The woman in the photo is Tabitha Shannon RN Lieutenant retired after 21 years serving in the Navy. She is an amazing woman who has displayed courage, grit, and a desire to continuing to serve her fellow veterans, active duty military, and their families. Tabitha has been a part of my life since she was very young. She’s one of the reasons I founded Encouragers Counseling & Training Centers.
Over the past 10 years we have served nearly 10,000 veterans, active-duty personnel, and their families in California. We have accomplished this task as a VA Community Care Provider. We work with university students offering a robust training program that includes clinicians and supervisors who are retired military, first responders, spouses of military, and clinicians who actively serve in the reserve.
We all have a passion to serve because we are intimately aware of the challenges our military personnel and first responders face. Our team consists of Licensed and pre-licensed Clinical Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Professional Clinical Counselors who oversee all areas of the mental health field.
Working as a nonprofit allows us to work with Veterans who have spouses and children who are not covered by their benefits. Your donation helps to pay for those desperately needed services. Please consider going to our Donations tab and if you donate $25 or more, you’ll get my book “Live Intentional” for free.
May we serve you?
